Microsoft has launched its two new nokia series smartphones named Nokia 230 and Nokia 230 Dual SIM highlighted. Both the phones have been evaluated at $55 (around Rs. 3,700). The Nokia 230 and Nokia 230 Dual SIM will available to purchase from next month in India.
Microsoft is touting the handsets as ‘premium quality Internet-empowered element phones.’ One of the greatest highlight of the Nokia 230 and Nokia 230 Dual SIM are that they are furnished with a 2-megapixel front and back cameras. The Nokia 230 and Nokia 230 Dual SIM sports a 2.8-inch QVGA (240×320 pixels) LCD screen display. The external memory of the smartphones can be extended upto 32GB by means of microSD card. The connectivity options includes like, GPRS/EDGE, Bluetooth v3.0, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm sound jack.
Microsoft has fitted a 1200mAh battery, promises to give up to 23 hours of talk time; up to 22 days of standby time (dual SIM display) and up to 27 days of standby time on single-SIM model. The Nokia 230 measures 124.6×53.4×10.9mm, and weighs 92 grams.
