Swipe Technologies, on Children’s Day has launched Swipe Junior smartphone, specifically built for kids for Rs 5,999.
Swipe Junior comes with a number of special features which makes it suitable for children aged between 5-15 years. Some of these include parents operated control system, which lets parents keep a check of contact lists in the phone and limit internet browsing, apps and game usage.
The geo-positioning feature helps tracks users movements and limit them to ‘geo-fence area’. Parents can also mark ‘safe’ and ‘danger’ zones on the phone to make children stay within limits.
It features a 4.5-inch Display, a 2MP rear camera and 0.3MP front camera. It is powered by 1.3 GHz dual core processor, 512MB RAM and 4GB ROM.
The 3G smartphone runs on Android KitKat 4.4 and is backed by 1900mAh battery. On the connectivity front, it supports wi-fi and bluetooth.
It also comes with a customized UI, pre-loaded with apps for kids and on-cloud connectivity. The company says that it is shock-proof and durable. It comes in blue and pink colours.
