Huawei Mate 8 specifications
Huawei released on November 25, the Mate 8 features the Kirin 950 processor, promising 100 percent performance boost over the Mate 7's Kirin 920. It will also be the first phone to use the Mali T880 GPU.
In the Huawei release, the company emphasized the comparative benefits of the Mate 8's setup, saying that it would perform 22 percent better and consume 12 percent less power than the Exynos 7420, and perform 25 percent better and consume 44 percent less power than the Snapdragon 810. How the Kirin 950 will compare to the next generation of those the two chips, the Exynos 8890 and Snapdragon 820, remains to be seen.
